The aim of the editorial rounds is to create a workshop-like environment and a community of artists and writers that supports creative exchange. The editorial rounds can last for two weeks. The writer is not obliged to accept any of the edits suggested by our editors. During the editorial rounds, you will be put in touch with one of our editors who will help you edit your piece or may provide their comments if we think your piece could benefit from some edits. We may conduct editorial rounds for poetry, fiction, and non-fiction.
We try our best to provide feedback on every submission we receive. The subject line should be ‘Query regarding Submission.’ If more than 3 months have gone by since you last submitted, please do not hesitate to send us an email at. We try out best to respond within 2 to 3 months. In order to give careful and deserving feedback to each piece we receive, we request your patience. Alternatively, you can add a note to your submission and let us know. In the case of poetry submissions, please send us an email at and mention the titles of poems that have been accepted elsewhere. However, please withdraw your submission if your piece has been accepted elsewhere. Please do not send us submissions via email. Submissions are only accepted through Submittable. General and specific guidelines are mentioned at the topmast and under the various categories on the Submittable form. Proceed to our Submissions Manager at Submittable by clicking here. Submissions for Issue XVI will open soon. However, we soon hope to open submissions for translations.
At the moment, we only accept works written in English. Work published on social media and/or blogs will not be considered published. We only accept unsolicited and previously unpublished work.
